A 62-year-old woman was hospitalised this morning after she fell off her horse in Randjiesfontein in Midrand.
ER24 paramedics arrived at 07h15 to find a woman lying in the middle of the road.
Medics assessed the woman and found that she had sustained numerous injuries to her chest, leaving her in a serious condition.
The woman was treated and provided with pain-relief medication before being transported to Mediclinic Midstream for further care.
