Two taxis collide leaving eight injured in the Pretoria CBD

Eight people were left injured this morning when two taxis collided at the Kgosi Mampuru and Fisagie intersection in Pretoria CBD.

ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene at 07h33 to find both taxis in the middle of the road, Several people were found seated on the pavement while one patient was found sitting in the vehicle.

Medics assessed the patients and found that eight people had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found.

The patients were treated and thereafter transported to nearby hospitals for further care.

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations….
