Taxi rollover leaves fourteen injured in Imbali

Fourteen people were left injured this morning following a taxi rollover on the main road between France and Unit 15 in Imbali, KwaZulu Natal.
ER24 personnel arrived on the scene at 07h45 to find another service already in attendance. A taxi was found lying on its side on the side of the road against the ARMCO barriers. The passengers had already climbed out of the vehicle and were found seated on the pavement.
Emergency personnel assessed the patients and found that fourteen people, including two children aged between 2 and 3, had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found on the scene.
The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to nearby hospitals for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
