Taxi rollover leaves eighteen injured, including children in Unigray , South of Johannesburg

Eighteen people were left injured this morning, including sixteen children, when the taxi they were travelling in rolled on the Neale Road in Unigray, south of Johannesburg.
ER24 paramedics, along with several other medical services, arrived on the scene at 07h30 to find the taxi upright on the side of the road. The passengers had already climbed out of the vehicle and were found walking around on the scene.
Paramedics assessed the patients and found that two adult and sixteen children, aged between 3 and 11, had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found on the scene.
The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to South Rand Hospital for further treatment.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
