Taxi rear-ends another leaving twelve injured in Teddefield

Twelve people were left injured this morning when a taxi rear-ended another on the R550 in Teddefield, south of Johannesburg.
ER24 medics, along with other services, arrived on the scene to find the two taxis on the side of the road. The passengers had already climbed out of the vehicle and were now found on the pavement.
Medics assessed the patients and found that twelve adults had sustained minor to moderate injuries.
The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to nearby provincial hospitals for further care.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
