Taxi rear-ends another leaving seven injured in Belhar

Seven people were left injured this morning when a taxi rear-ended another on the Stellenbosch Arterial in Belhar, Western Cape.

ER24 paramedics, along with the Western Cape Metro Services, arrived on the scene at 07h18 to find the two taxis parked in the middle of the road. Several people were found walking around on the scene while several other were seated inside the two taxis.

Medics assessed the patients and found that seven people had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found.

The patients were treated and thereafter transported to nearby hospitals for further care.

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations….
