Fourteen people were left injured on Friday when the taxi they were travelling in overturned on Aliwal Street in Bloemfontein.
ER24 personnel, along with other services, arrived on the scene at 15h55 to find the taxi lying on its side in the middle of the road. The passengers from the vehicle had already moved to the side of the road.
Medics assessed the patients and found that fourteen people had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found.
The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to various provincial hospitals for further care.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
