This evening at approximately 5:00, Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service responded to the R34 Dundee road for reports of an accident.
When emergency services arrived the found that a taxi and car had collided and had caught alight and burnt.
Paramedics quickly assessed the screen and found multiple patients. 1 sustained critical injuries and was stabilized on the scene before being transported to hospital. 8 patients sustained serious injuries and were treated in scene before being transported to hospital.
According to unconfirmed reports on scene, 8 patients sustained fatal injuries as a result of the fire in the vehicles.
The cause of the accident is not known, authorities are investigating….
