Multiple people have been injured in an accident on Henwood Road and Shepstone Road in Pinetown just before 8am on Wednesday morning.
KZN VIP Medical Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that a light motor vehicle had collided into a work bakkie full of workers. A quick assessment was done and it was found that seven people had sustained various injuries. All seven patients were stabilizing on the scene before they were transported to a nearby Durban Hospital for the further treatment that they required.
At this stage the events leading up to the accident are unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
