Last night Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service responded to the intersection of Utrecht and Oos Street in Vryheid for reports of a collision.
When emergency services arrived they found that a taxi and truck had collided, causing the truck to overturn.
Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found 4 occupants that had sustained serious injuries. One of the occupants being entrapped in the vehicle.
Together with Rescue services, the entrapped patient was extricated. All the patients were treated on scene before being transported to the hospital for further treatment.
