Multiple people have been hurt after three taxis collided at the corner of Berea Road and Botanic Gardens Road just after 6:30 am this morning.
Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that three taxis had collided in the junction. The vehicles were extensively damaged. Multiple patients were injured and immediately more ambulances were dispatched to assist. Approximately Twenty patients had sustained multiple injuries and once stabilised on the scene the injured were transported to various hospitals for the further care that they required. Traffic was severely affected by the entire area.
At this stage, the events leading up to the crash is unknown however SAPS were on scene and will be investigating further.
