Multiple injured in a two-vehicle collision in Benoni

Nineteen people were left injured following a collision between a bakkie and a taxi on the N12 West in Benoni this evening.

When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene shortly before 18h00, they found most of the patients from the taxi sitting next to the highway. Upon further assessment, paramedics found that nineteen patients sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.

ER24, and another medical service at the scene, treated the patients before transporting them to the hospital for further medical care.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known to our paramedics….
