Multiple injured in a taxi crash in Durban

Approximately twenty people have been injured after two taxis collided in a rear end collision on Berea Road near Botanic Gardens Road just after 6am this morning.

Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find multiple passengers injured on the roadside. Immediately more ambulances were dispatched to assist. Approximately Twenty People had sustained various injuries and once stabilised on the scene they were loaded into an awaiting ambulances and then transported through to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.

Traffic was severely affected in the area.

At this stage the events leading up to the collision is unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
