Man shot dead next to a taxi in Johannesburg

A 40-year-old taxi driver was shot dead by two unknown gunmen in West Street, Selby, Johannesburg this afternoon.

ER24 paramedics arrived at 14:40 to find the man lying on the pavement next to his taxi having suffered multiple gun wounds. Unfortunately he showed no signs of life and was declared dead on arrival. 

The JMPD and SAPS were on the scene for further investigation.
