KwaZulu-Natal At 06H12 Tuesday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the Hans Dettman Highway in Pinetown.
Reports from the scene indicate that a mini-bus taxi and a truck were involved in a collision.
One person an adult male front seat passenger from the taxi sustained moderate injuries and was treated on scene by an Advanced life support Practitioner.
The Netcare 911 Rescue Technician used hydraulic tools to free the patient trapped in the wreckage.
Once treated the patient was transported by ambulance to hospital for further treatment.
