Gauteng: At 20H11 Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the corners of 24th Avenue and Nico Smith Avenue in Villeria, Pretoria.
Reports from the scene indicate that and adult male pedestrian was struck down by a mini-bus taxi while crossing the road.
The pedestrian was dragged under the taxi for some distance.
Paramedics assessed the adult male and found that he had sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased on the scene.
