Fifteen injured in Pinetown crash

Fifteen people have been injured after a rear-end collision between a taxi and a car on Otto Volek Road in New Germany on Friday morning just after 6:15 am.

Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find multiple casualties injured. Immediately more ambulances, as well as Advanced Life Support units, were dispatched. A total of Fifteen people had sustained various injuries ranging from minor to moderate and once stabilised they were transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.

At this stage, the events leading up to the crash is unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
