Eleven injured after taxi crashes into tree in Randfontein

Eleven people were left injured after a taxi crashed into a tree on Tambotie street in Randfontein this morning.
When ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene shortly after 08H00, they found a taxi off the roadway and several people seated on the pavement.

Upon further assessment, paramedics found eleven patients who had sustained minor injuries. Fortunately, no-one sustained any serious injuries.

ER24, as well as another medical service on the scene, transported the patients to hospital for further medical care.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known to our paramedics, but local authorities were on the scene.
