Delivery vehicle attacked in Blythedale

Earlier this morning IPSS Medical Rescue responded to reports of a shooting on the N2 towards the Blythedale interchange.

On arrival, paramedics ascertained that an unknown vehicle had pulled alongside a delivery van and opened fire, causing the vehicle to come to a stop. The three unknown occupants began to rob the delivery van of its contents, as the injured driver ran away on foot.

The criminals were reportedly interrupted and fled the scene with undisclosed items. The delivery van driver was shot in the leg and was treated by IPSS Medical Rescue advanced life support paramedics before being transported to hospital by IPSS ambulance….
