22 Injured in a two-vehicle collision on the N12 in Kimberley

Twenty-two patients sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious following a collision between a light motor vehicle and a taxi on the N12 in Kimberley direction Ritchie this afternoon.
When ER24 paramedics arrived at the scene shortly before 13h00, they found that the taxi had come to a stop over a railway track.
Upon further assessment, 22 patients were found injured.
ER24 as well as various other medical services treated and transported the injured to hospital for further medical care.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not known to our paramedics, but police were on the scene for further investigations.
