Update: Four (4) people have been declared deceased following the collision. Another fifty (50) people sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
Gauteng: At 17H18 Monday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a serious collision on Moloto road in Kameeldrift.
Reports from the scene indicate that a truck and a bus were involved in a collision.
Ten people have sustained serious injuries and are being treated by Advanced life support paramedics.
Approximately another sixty patients have sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
Once stabilized all the patients will be transported by various ambulance services to the hospital for further treatment.
The road has been closed off completely.
All the necessary authorities are on the scene.
