After hearing the last address of the President of South Africa, Scientology Volunteer Ministers in Gauteng are even more active on bringing education to millions of South Africans, by distributing hygiene booklets they have produced and translated into IsiZulu, Sesotho and Xhosa – so that more people can learn how to protect themselves better during the Covid19 period.

They are working with other essential services such as police and security services to place the booklets in the hands of as many people as possible and with urgency.

Adding to all the sanitization help they have been doing over the period of the lock-downs in Gauteng, Eastern Cape, Western Cape and Kwa-Zulu Natal, Scientology Volunteer Ministers have produced a series of educational booklets on hygiene which they want people to be educated on so they know how to keep themselves safe.   The booklets are titled, “How to Prevent the Spread of Illness with Isolation”, How to keep yourself and others well” and “How to Protect Yourself and others with Masks and Gloves”.  All of those are offered in English, IsiZulu Sesotho and Xhosa to cover more of the South African population.

The Scientology Volunteer Ministers say they have even made the booklets downloadable from their site – scientology.org/staywell – and in the three South African languages to be able to reach more people across the country.

They also mentioned that they are definitely working on more translations in order to accommodate the beautiful rainbow nation.

An Emergency Services worker at Mother well Emergency Services Station in the Eastern Cape said, “It is great for us because we learn many things about this virus on this website. It is something we can use without spending lot of money and now that it is in Xhosa it’s easy to go outside and tell someone about the protection and precautions they should take on this virus.”

A Department of Education official said “This is amazing that you have gone and done this, making the knowledge available to everyone! I am going to keep getting more Department of Education officials to see this and work to get this in the school as it is so needed! Great work”.

Another Emergency Services worker who logged onto the Xhosa website said, “I am very glad that someone took the time and trouble to translate this into Xhosa for the people in the area!”

Sandile Hlayisi, Public Affairs Director for the Scientology Volunteer Ministers is happy to see that the work being done is helpful to others.  But he adds, “There is so much more to be done and we need to reach so many more.  We want to continue to protect our people while backing up our President as we are all in it together and “Something Can be done About it”, the motto of the Volunteer Ministers as written by L. Ron Hubbard.
