LETSITELE – The South African Police Service in Letsitele under Mopani District had on Thursday 22 July 2021 distributed food parcels to needy community members in Tzaneen.

The team was led by the Social Crime prevention Coordinator Warrant Officer Shibambu, accompanied by Sergeant Mabuza, Sergeant Shitlhangu, Sergeant Mabasa, Letsitele Community Policing Forum (CPF) Executive Board Chairperson Mr Ndlovu and Letsitele Youth Desk Chairperson Miss Baloyi.

This act of kindness and going beyond the call of police duties initiative was driven by the need to make each day a Mandela day and help where possible.

The team identified four disadvantaged families from different tribal authorities in Nkambako, Xihoko, Mandlakazi and Mulati villages within the Mopani District.

During the initiative food parcels were distributed to the households which are struggling to make ends meet due to various social issues.
