The CEO of Huawei’s consumer business, Yu Chengdong revealed in a recent internal meeting that it is estimated that the company will ship 230 units of smart phones this year globally, surpassing Apple to become the second largest seller in the world, if nothing special happens. A month ago, Huawei officially annoucned that its has shipped over 200 units of small phones globally, two months earlier when it was annoucned last year. Huawei shipped 206 million of smart phones in 2018, if it ships 230 million this year, it will represent a growth rate of 12%.
