The Ministry of Industry and Information release the economic performance of the telecommunication industry in between January to November.
According to statistics the telecommunication industry took in ￥1.2039 trillion during this period, a year-on-year growth of 0.5%, representing a stable growth. It took in ￥106.6 billion, a year-on-year growth of 3.2%. There are more than 1.6 billion mobile phone users, with 4G users taking up an inceasingly higher share. By the end of November, mobile phone users of three major telecommunication operators have exceeded 1.6 billion, a year-on-year growth of 2.7%，representing a net increase of 34.86 million.
