Shenzhen-based programming education provider for children Matatalab raised ￥30 million in a series A round funding led by THG Ventures and followed by Kingsum Capital. The investment will be used as an additional fund. It will be used on iteration of hardware products, expansion of sales channel, and development of courses.

Established in 2017, Matatalab is a STEAM education products and content provider targeting the childhood education market. The children programming robot it develops deploys image recognition technology. It nurtures children’s cognition and computational thinking through a wide range of funny programming games. Its products have entered the preprimary education and primary education market of over 40 European countries and America.
