Chinese Smart Driving System Provider CalmCar Raised Hundreds of Millions of Yuan in a Series A2 Round Funding

Chinese smart driving system provider CalmCar raised hundreds of millions of yuan in a series A2 round funding. The investment was jointly made by SAIC California Venture Capital, Beijing Automobile Internet Industry Development Fund. The investment was mainly used to mass produce an all-round sensing system that can support L2+ smart driving and deepen cooperation with suppliers.

CalmCar researches and develops smart driving all-round sensing system. It combines its self-developed deep learning model and  machine visionary algorithms, and optimize them onto mature chips (including NAVIDIA, NXP, Xilinx, Texas Instruments,and Hisilicon ). in this way they provide solutions that integrates vision and millimeter-wave radar, laser radar,  ultrasound radar. It also focuses on decision making and control areas.
