China’s fresh aquatic food supply chain company Maitiao Huoxian raised millions of yuan in an angel round funding led by Buhuo VC. The investment will be used on team building, supply chain upgrade, information improvement, and branding.

Maitiao Huoxian looks into the feature of various aquatic products by studying moisture, temperature, salinity, pressure, oxygen, and alteration of intestina flora. It creates a package technique that enables aquatic animals to live 7 to 15 days in transportation. This makes it possible to provide fresh aquatic products to consumers from place of origin.
