China’s Cloud Architecture Communication Service Provider Baicells Finished C1 Round Funding

China’s cloud architecture communication service provider Baicells finished C1 round funding jointly led by GreenLands Group and China Internet Investment Fund. Baicells disclosed that many funds had revealed their intention to invest in the company in its C2 round funding. It is estimated that it will raise around 600 million yuan in its C round funding.

Established in 2014, Baicells is a champion of telecommunication open architecture. Its customers come from North America, Asia Pacific region, Southeast Asia, Europe, and so on. It has signed strategic agreements with Facebook and Lenovo. In addition, it has signed an agreement wit Intel and Qualcomm to jointly develop 5G. it has awarded a commercial 4G/5 GO-RAN dual mode base station contract from China Unicom, a 3.5GHz indoor 5G reference design project from China Telecom. What’s more it has won the bids from a number of famous global operators including China Unicom, China Tower, Vodafone, Telefonica, Reliance Jio to develop innovative base.
