The 2022 edition of the Angola Oil & Gas (AOG) conference and exhibition {http:\/\/bit.ly\/3UyBCpP<\/a>} \u2013 Angola\u2019s premier oil and gas event \u2013 which runs from November 29 \u2013 December 01 in Luanda will showcase investment and partnership opportunities for services companies across the country\u2019s rapidly expanding hydrocarbon industry.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Under the theme \u2018Promoting an Inclusive, Attractive and Innovative Oil and Gas Industry in Angola\u2019, AOG 2022 \u2013 Angola\u2019s biggest gathering for energy policymakers, companies and investors \u2013 will host high-level panel discussions and networking sessions, showcasing trends and the growth potential of the country\u2019s oil and gas services sector.<\/p>\n

Whilst factors such as deprived infrastructure, inadequate technology and limited investment have disrupted Angola\u2019s oil and gas industry, the services sector has played a crucial role in changing the southern African country\u2019s hydrocarbon landscape. And now, with Angola seeking to maximize the exploitation of its vast, untapped oil and gas reserves for energy security and to drive economic expansion \u2013 by launching a series of exploration activities and mid-stream and downstream infrastructure rollout whilst accelerating the development of new discoveries including TotalEnergies\u2019 Cameia \u2013 Golfinho, CLOV 3 and Chissonga, bp\u2019s Palas, Astrea and Juno (PAJ), Eni\u2019s Agogo, Ndungu FFD and Quiluma\/ Maboqueiro, and Chevron\u2019s Sanha Lean Gas \u2013 the services sector is vital, expected to play a crucial role and bursting with opportunities.<\/p>\n

Saipem\u2019s win of a $900 million contract from Angola\u2019s New Gas Consortium for the development of the Quiluma and Maboqueiro gas fields and the Angola Liquefied Natural Gas project; TechnipFMC\u2019s selection by TotalEnergies for the construction of CLOV 3 and the continued expansion of local firms such as Certex Angola is a huge testimony of the massive opportunities across the Angolan oil and gas market.<\/p>\n
