Gaborone \u2014 The year 2028 will see Africa’s elite stars converging in Botswana for the 25th African Senior Athletics Championships 2028.<\/p>\n
The Confederation of African Athletics (CAA) confirmed Botswana as the next host of the event, following the end of the 24th edition, which was held in Accra, Ghana.<\/p>\n
The hosting rights were awarded in 2024, however the Botswana Athletics Association (BAA) had to present its readiness case before the CAA council in Accra, Ghana.<\/p>\n
