The Urban Roads Department, an agency under the Ministry of Roads and Highways, has awarded contracts covering a total of 150 kilometres of roads as part of the government’s efforts to improve the quality of roads in towns and cities across the country.<\/p>\n
Out of the 16 contracts awarded across five regions under the “Big Push” programme, 14, valued at over GH\u00a26 billion, are being executed by Ghanaian contractors.<\/p>\n
The local firms undertaking some of the projects include Murisco Ltd, Kojo Job Company…<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
