Wafula Chebukati, the former chairperson of Kenya’s Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has died, the family has confirmed.<\/p>\n
Chebukati who was aged 64, died at 11 pm on Thursday, February 20.<\/p>\n
The confirmation of his death comes after it was reported last week that he was critically ill.<\/p>\n
The former IEBC boss was in hospital in Nairobi where he had been undergoing treatment for nearly a week.<\/p>\n
