NAMIBIA has southern Africa’s highest unemployment rate, the Namibia Statistics Agency (NSA) has revealed.<\/em><\/p>\n Unemployment is a measure of the percentage of people who are able and willing to work but cannot find jobs. The NSA’s manager for social statistics Linda Shitenga told The Namibian on Friday the country’s unemployment rate of 36.9% is the highest in the Southern African Development Community (SADC).<\/p>\n This means about 320 450 Namibians are unemployed.
