Tunis, Oct. 15 \u2014 President of the Republic Ka\u00efs Sa\u00efed chaired Tuesday in Bizerte an official ceremony to commemorate the 61st anniversary of Evacuation.<\/p>\n
Upon arrival, the Head of the State saluted the flag as the national anthem was performed and reviewed a detachment of the three armies paying him honours.<\/p>\n
He then laid a wreath at the foot of the martyrs’ memorial and recited the Fatiha in their memory.<\/p>\n
The Head of State met with senior military officials and veterans.<\/p>\n
