Maputo \u2014 The crisis of a shortage of plaster in hospitals in the northern Mozambican city of Nampula is over – at least for another couple of weeks.<\/p>\n
According to the independent television station STV, an emergency consignment of 90 kilos of plaster arrived in Nampula on Monday night. Patients who have suffered fractures can now have their limbs set properly in plaster. Given the lack of plaster, doctors had been resorting to pieces of cardboard to treat patients with fractures.<\/p>\n
