Sierra Leone is presently experiencing an outbreak of mpox, averaging 29 new cases each day in the last week (23 – 30 June 2025).1 Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) has responded in Freetown, which is the country’s hotspot zone, and in Kenema, Bombali and Tonkolili districts, in the Eastern and Northern provinces of the country.
