Sierra Leone – The Health Communication Officer, Directorate of Disease Prevention and Control in the Ministry of Health and Sanitation, Harold Thomas, has said, hand sanitizers does not prevent Ebola virus”.
Thomas said the sanitizer kills 99.9 % bacteria and not virus, adding that bacteria is different from virus.
