Lowveld sugarcane producers are set to benefit from Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority’s (ZESA) construction of a 330 kilovolt power line by its subsidiary, the Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC).
ZETDC Acting Managing Director Abel Gurupira told a Parliamentary Portfolio Committee on Industry and Commerce this Tuesday that a 330 kilovolt line from Mutare to Chiredzi is under construction.
