Zimbabwe has exploded today with violent protests, angry riots, and civil unrest, mostly in Harare. Is this a preview of the coming African Spring expected in Zimbabwe, as well as South Africa?
The ruthless dictator Mugabe has money for water cannon riot trucks costing millions while our people are starving because of his corrupt dictatorship.
He is literally holding our people hostage with heavy-handed use of the police – how can he defend the fact that Zimbabwe has become the poorest nation on earth under his rule?
By looking at the uniforms and the condition of some of the police vehicles, it is evident that traditional law enforcement and military regimental discipline &and respect is lacking, and that the Zimbabwean police/military have become nothing more than a band of brainwashed Mugabe-thugs who have been manipulated into doing their Master’s bidding.
In 2013, the Zimbabwe government had $217 USD in their bank account. They were the laughing stock of the world. Are the people laughing now?
This is not the African Freedom or Self-Determination we dream about – this is a far worse oppression and poverty than experienced under the former government.
In South Africa, the fear of the majority is similar – with a media blackout and repeated violation of constitutional law in South Africa by the current ANC government, the country will look like Zimbabwe in a few years. A ruined country, bankrupt, starving, desperate, pervasive crime, and with no freedom or rights.
Is this the scorched earth policy we are forced to accept, forced on us by our tribal and tyrannical leaders? How are our people supposed to strive for self-determination, upliftment, and advancement when there is nothing left to build upon?
Is the fundamental problem that the majority would rather live in poverty, and see their children suffer, rather than to see a government in place that might show accountability?
Our emerging ANC Dictators, like Zuma and Mugabe, are betraying the people they were supposed to free, while we post our musings on Twitter?
Thousands have died under Mugabe’s reign of terror against Africans; this is will soon be South Africa’s reality too.
It is time for the Zimbabwean and South African majority to force regime change so that we may fully realize the African dream, not the twisted version painted by our current dictators.
It is time to stop running, and to brace for a fight.
