Robert Mugabe says there was nothing wrong with blacks killing whites during the “Godly liberation war against colonialists”.
Speaking at the official launch of the Non Aligned Movement Workshop on Minerals in Harare, September 2014, Mugabe told delegates, who included school children, that: “Uprooting settlers demanded more than just sitting and crying, so we opted for the brutal way. Bullet for bullet.”
Mugabe described the killings as a Godly way of dealing with the colonialists since they (freedom fighters) did not go for the white men’s school children. The veteran leader said passive resistance by black Zimbabweans against the British settlers had only resulted in one-sided bloodshed, hence the adoption of the armed struggle.
Mugabe said his whole life had been focused on politics and fighting colonialism…
