Zambia/South Africa: SA, Zambia Claim U20 Football Titles

South Africa and Zambia both retained their Cosafa under-20 crowns for men and women respectively as they claimed the gold medals in the Region 5 Games football finals that were played in Windhoek, Namibia on Sunday.

African champions South Africa defeated Malawi 3-0 in the final at the Unam Stadium, while Zambia defeated South Africa 2-0 in the women’s decider.

The matches brought to an end a thrilling set of competitions that highlighted the incredible talent in the Southern African region.
