Hassan extended congratulations on the complete success of the sixth ministerial meeting of China-Arab States Cooperation Forum (CASCF), and expressed that Comoros highly appreciates the various plans and initiatives proposed by the Chinese side. Since China is talking with its heart, Comoros should also treat it with sincerity and respond with heart, and make efforts to enhance Comoros-China and Arab-China friendly relations in a constant way.
Arif Sayed Hassan said that since the independence of Comoros, China has been giving it help in political, economic and other aspects. Comoros is willing to continue mutual support with China in international organizations and other multilateral occasions, and hopes to strengthen bilateral cooperation in infrastructure construction, farming and fishery, seafloor oil gas, solar energy, personnel training and other aspects.
Wang Yi thanked Comoros for its contributions to promoting China-Arab and China-Africa relations, and expressed that though China and Comoros are distant from each other, the two countries enjoy profound friendship. China is the first country that recognized Comoros’s independence and established the diplomatic relationship with it. Both sides have always respected each other, treated each other as equals, and helped each other.
