FIFTY-SIX-year old Dina Diedericks was raped and strangled to death last Saturday at her home in Windhoek West.
According to police spokesperson Sergeant Slogan Matheus, Diedericks was found dead at around 23h30 in Karis Street. Her next of kin have been informed and police investigations continue.
At Aminuis in the Omaheke region a woman was ganged-raped and then assaulted by three men.
“We suspect that the victim was going home from a drinking place when three known men raped and assaulted her. The next morning her boyfriend decided to look for her as she didn’t come home the previous night. He found her in the field and took her to the clinic,” Matheus said…
