Mozambique: SAMIN Formally Withdraws From Cabo Delgado

Maputo — The Southern African Development Community Military Mission to Mozambique (SAMIM), which had been helping Mozambican forces fight Islamist terrorists in the northern province of Cabo Delgado since July 2021, has formally left the country as a result of the end of its mandate.
