FORMER President Dr Kenneth Kaunda has been awarded honorary citizenship of Mozambique by President Armando Guebuza.
This is according to a statement issued yesterday by the High Commission of Zambia in Maputo.
“The award was bestowed at a ceremony marking the 39th Mozambican independence day celebrations on June 25, 2014 at the Presidential Palace in Maputo and is in recognition of the role Dr Kaunda played in the liberation of Mozambique,” part of the statement reads…
