Lesotho: LCS Boss Disowns Netflix Prison Documentary

Lesotho Correctional Service (LCS) Commissioner, Mating Nkakala, has belatedly disowned a documentary film shot inside in the Maseru Central Prison by a British journalist, Raphael Rowe, in 2019.

Titled “Inside the world’s toughest prisons”, the documentary was released in July 2020.

Rowe, is seen on the video interacting freely with Maseru prisoners in red overalls.
