Botswana Ready for Continental Showpiece

Gaborone — The year 2028 will see Africa’s elite stars converging in Botswana for the 25th African Senior Athletics Championships 2028.

The Confederation of African Athletics (CAA) confirmed Botswana as the next host of the event, following the end of the 24th edition, which was held in Accra, Ghana.

The hosting rights were awarded in 2024, however the Botswana Athletics Association (BAA) had to present its readiness case before the CAA council in Accra, Ghana.
