Botswana: Drone Spectacle Celebrates China-Botswana Ties

Gaborone — A spectacular display of 500 drones lit up the Gaborone night sky on Tuesday, showcasing the enduring friendship and growing bilateral ties between China and Botswana.

Hosted by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China at the University of Botswana stadium, the event attracted more than 450 people and formed part of celebrations marking the China-Africa Year of People-to-People Exchanges and Botswana’s 60th anniversary of independence.
