Botswana: Council Beats Food Relief Exercise Challenges

Maun — North West District Council chairperson has enumerated challenges experienced in the food relief distribution exercise.

Addressing council recently, Mr Kebareeditse Ntsogotlho said challenges included slow delivery of commodities from Maun to Okavango, reluctance to accept assessment outcome, high number of reported emergency cases, dishonest clients, withholding or providing wrong information to social workers in a bid to qualify for assistance.
